      I'm not 1005 sure on girls clothes from those cultuers.... i think that is a kiten, caiten. Kaiten...however it's spelled and iirc it's neither Norse nor Anglo Saxon. Dingo would know a littl better she has like 4 of them

      Yes it is, some lady at Pennsic sold them as "bog dresses" made them in plaid flannel and told people it was "cletic". I believe it was a sales ploy..cuz back then you could sell anything to Scadians if you put "cletic" or "early period" on it. Like "try our new early period celtic lug wrench/ can opener/ cell phone case/ dog dish" and people would buy it. It was a dark time lol.....but why would you wear something to keep cool that was plaid flannel?? I never understood that. Dingo has like 3 of them one is the olympic style she made herself anfd then 2 silk ones she bought. SHe knows the history better than me on this style garment but it's Greek
